All students were encouraged to bring their favorite maiden in for a free muffin and juice the morning of December 1. Once they arrived they walked through the picture station. Each family's picture is taken and sent home after the event. This event has blossomed into an incredible event connecting the school and community with NBE families. NBE was able to serve 600 people in the hour! This year the helpful servers were Superintendent Mr. Kuehl, Police Officers Juan Santiago (NBE parent) and Rick Vazquez.
NBE thinks of everything and the event included options for allergies, special food needs and if a maiden was unable to attend, the teachers stepped in and students could enjoy their muffin with a teacher. After the event, the CCA High School Student Council helped with clean up so the teachers are able to get back to their classrooms with the students.
