construction sign for CCA construction updates

There is a lot of dirt moving, trucks running and improvements happening throughout our School District.

New 4/5 Elementary:

Grading, footings, foundation walls, underground plumbing, electrical and masonry work are all underway at hte New Elementary site just to the north of Tiffin Elementary.

High School:

The athletic complex for safety reasons, is closed until the end of July for the installation of new turf and additional bleacher spaces. Work has started to dismantle the old ramps and stairs to the bleachers.

Fence demolition started yesterday and concrete removal and excavation for footings will begin Friday the 8th or early next week.

The turf removal and replacement will begin the 18th of June.

High School/Middle School Sites:

Grading for the new Middle School access road and additional High School parking has begun. The detention basin between the two sites will be filled in this summer and allowed to settle for a year before paving the parking lot. The access road and parking lot will be open for the 2019 school year. A new culvert will be installed heading south of the stadium where the new detention basins will be graded.

As part of this grading package, there will be filling and rough grading to the field directly south of the High School building. This will be the start of the sitework for a future baseball and softball complex. Final completion for the complex has yet to be determined.

The mission of the Clear Creek Amana Community School District is to prepare students to be productive, responsible,
